So this is “Heady Topper” from Alchemist Brewing purchased from an unnamed source and imported from Vermont. It’s supposedly the best beer in the world as rated by Rate Beer. It’s great, but as to why it recently overtook Pliny The Elder for the #1 spot, I’m not sure. Hoppy as hell and very crisp…maybe everyone just has Pliny fatigue. #craftbeer
I’ve been meaning to try the Avery Brewing “Maharaja” for a while now after great reviews IMO the hype equals the experience. Maybe the most tropical combo of hops in any Imperial IPA I’ve had to date. A little boozy at 10.4%, but the finish is clean and malt balances it out. Great color. #nofilter #averybrewing #craftbeer
